Jennifer Gonring today unveiled Principle Partner, a new strategic consulting and executive coaching firm designed to help organizations, C-suite executives, creative leaders, and elected officials sharpen growth strategies, reach new audiences, and expand their influence.
With nearly 30 years at the crossroads of Hollywood, politics, philanthropy, and public relations—including leadership at DreamWorks SKG and as co-founder/CEO of the acclaimed public affairs firm Gonring Lin Spahn—Gonring has built a reputation for navigating high-stakes environments and driving breakthrough initiatives.
What sets Principle Partner apart is its hybrid model: offering deep, embedded leadership with select organizations, while also providing outside perspective to energize campaigns, partnerships, and creative projects.
“I’m most energized by opportunities to fully integrate with organizations—strengthening their work from the inside,” said Gonring. “At the same time, I’m curating a portfolio of clients who benefit from fresh perspective to accelerate bold ideas and amplify impact.”
Kicking off this new chapter, Gonring has been tapped as Chief Strategy Officer for the independent, nonprofit SAG-AFTRA Foundation, leading efforts to shape and drive its long-term objectives.
“It’s a big win for us,” said SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board Chairman Courtney B. Vance. “Jennifer’s rare experience and proven record are invaluable as we step into our next chapter.”
Executive Director Cyd Wilson added, “Jennifer’s expertise in communications and partnerships will take our already exceptional programs to new heights. We’re lucky to have her in-house.”
For Gonring, the role is a natural extension of her collaboration with the Foundation:
“Through industry-wide shutdowns and challenges, I’ve seen firsthand how the Foundation strengthens artists and careers. To help build that success from within is an extraordinary opportunity.”
Alongside Principle Partner, Gonring will continue her involvement with Gonring Lin Spahn, shifting from CEO to principal strategist, while expanding her growing roster of clients and partnerships under the new firm.a
