The Daytime Beauty Awards (DBAs) have announced Gloss Moderne as the recipient of the Breakthrough Award, honoring the brand’s pioneering role in elevating clean beauty into clean luxury.
Founded by Kuen Rameson, Gloss Moderne was born out of her passion for design, beauty, and holistic living. After a successful career in finance as an executive at UBS, Rameson pivoted industries with a bold mission: to create a high-performance, vegan collection that was as safe as it was sophisticated.
From its inception, Gloss Moderne distinguished itself by eliminating sulfates, parabens, and harmful additives, instead offering products that marry clean formulations with sensory indulgence. Today, the brand has expanded across fragrance, haircare, and bodycare, collaborating with a historic French fragrance house and world-class manufacturers to deliver products that embody both wellness and luxury.
Its reach spans globally, with distribution in Four Seasons, The Peninsula Beverly Hills, and an exclusive partnership with Montage Hotels and Resorts worldwide. By securing a presence in the most prestigious destinations, Gloss Moderne has redefined the standards of modern beauty—proving that clean can also be couture.
“The Breakthrough Award recognizes innovation that transforms the industry,” said DBAs Senior Executive Producer Pamela Price. “Gloss Moderne didn’t just enter the clean beauty conversation—it elevated it to an entirely new level of sophistication and desirability.”
The 2025 Daytime Beauty Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 21st at Grand Venue in Los Angeles, where Kuen Rameson will accept the honor on behalf of Gloss Moderne.
Created to celebrate the science and innovation behind beauty, health, and wellness, the Daytime Beauty Awards spotlight leaders across medicine, aesthetics, fitness, innovation, styling, and more. With past honorees including Cindy Crawford, Gabrielle Union, and Christie Brinkley, the DBAs bridge glamour with groundbreaking achievements that redefine how we look and live.
