Inzecto Is The Perfect Nightmare For Mosquitoes

Make no mistake, they are coming. They return each year and each year we search for solutions to keep them away. MOSQUITOES.

I was recently introduced to Inzecto, a mosquito trap with groundbreaking award-winning technology that was invented & developed in association with the University of Florida & co-funded by the Pentagon to protect American deployed soldiers.

The West Nile, Dengue, Ziga and Yellow Fever are considered the most deadly mosquitoes on the planet, killing 725,000 people each year and transmitting dangerous diseases to humans, pets and wildlife.

What is it that makes the Inzecto Mosquito trap so effective? The Inzecto Mosquito Trap utilizes a combination of red and black, the two colors proven to attract the most female mosquitoes. The food source inside of the trap of leaf crumbles provides an additional attractant for female mosquitoes to breed. The scent of the food source helps to mask any smell of chlorine in the water present which could repel the female mosquito.

How it works

The patented shape provides the perfect surface for female mosquitoes to lay their eggs. The “Ribs”, parallel to each other with a slight incline to the ground, provide for a gentle angle to land regardless of the level of the water in the trap and also reduce potential air-flow inside of the trap, providing maximum stillness of water which mosquitoes find ideal.

The traps unique pyramid-like shape was designed for stability and to reduce water evaporation. The trap was engineered to be easily installed on flat surfaces as well as on tree branches. Its size and capacity to hold water are perfect for minimal maintenance and long-term effectiveness.

How to Install

It is easy to setup, just place the trap in a shady area after you have filled the device with water and hang in a tree or a shrub whenever possible. The device kills both adult mosquitoes and larvae. A special process coats the inside of the trap with a polymer containing two common insecticides. The special polymer also allows the trap to last an entire mosquito season in a backyard. Each trap covers around 3,000 square feet. After 90 days, dispose of the water left in the trap by pouring onto the ground from water sources. Do NOT reuse the empty trap dispose of it in the recycling bin.
