Legendary Sheryl Crow Joins This Week’s “Girls With Guitars” Curated By H.E.R.

Legendary nine-time Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow and other surprise guests will join tonight’s popular “Girls With Guitars” Instagram live series, curated by ten-time nominated/two-time Grammy Award winner H.E.R.  LYFT partners as tonight’s sponsor to provide complimentary ride shares to medical staff on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Since the April 6 launch of “Girls With Guitars,” H.E.R.’s special guests have included Tori Kelly, Alessia Cara, Chloe x Halle, Umi, Lianna La Havas, Tiara Thomas, Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote) and Melanie Faye. Previous sponsors have included Amazon Music, which donated $30k to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, and Fender who gifted five California Series Newporter Player acoustic guitars and online Fender Play guitar lessons. Past episodes can be viewed on H.E.R.’s YouTube channel.

The H.E.R. recorded version of the winning song “Wrong Places (from Songland),” written by contestant Raquel Castro, judge Ryan Tedder and H.E.R., is currently #2 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Chart and iTunes Overall Chart. “Slide” feat. YG is currently #8 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Chart, marking two Top Ten songs on the chart for the gifted singer/songwriter/musician.
