It has been a week of unexpected flight trouble, especially when it comes to landing. A US Airways plane cabin began to fill up with smoke as it was taxiing the runway after landing at Denver International Airport.
All passengers on board the US Airways Flight 445 were evacuated via the escape slides and transported to the terminal via bus. According to reports, only one person suffered from minor injuries. The cause of the smoke is under investigation.
And in other plane news, a flight landing in La Guardia skidded off the runway and into a snow bank.
A passenger tweeted, “We have all been evacuated. Everyone is safe. Thank you for your prayers.”
