We had a ball at Nancy Cartwright‘s home this past weekend at the 8th Annual Happy House Texas Hold’Em Party. She is, of course the famous voice of Bart Simpson! Nancy founded Happy House to help children through the Good Choices Program. This year’s “funraiser” made roughly $35,000!
Great food was catered by Whole Food’s Market in Northridge. Tasty barbeque and lots of fun for everyone… from a waterslide to arts & crafts under the supervision of Bobbi Brunoehler, facepainting which was the most popular activity for the girls, great prizes, and hundreds of poker players raising money for the cause.
It was wonderful to finally meet the voice behind one of our favorite TV characters. Among the celebrities, we met the famous acting dog, Little Bear and his owner, Producer, Director, Writer and Author Bryan Michael Stoller.
We were entertained by several bands who took turns playing great music! If you didn’t have a chance to be there, make sure to mark your calendar for next year! It was a great afternoon!
