Dennis Rodman! What a big surprise. In his first interview since returning to the U.S. from an unprecedented visit to the North Korea last week, the former NBA star calls the country’s oppressive leader, Kim Jong Un his ‘friend’. This is the man who has threatened to destroy the United States, presides over prison camps; allowing millions of his people to starve. But, hey… that’s OK in Rodman’s eyes because ‘he’s just a great guy’. This ‘great guy’ Rodman speaks of has defied U.N. sanctions by continuing to develop North Korea’s nuclear arms and missile program, which he says is aimed at the U.S.
Apparently, Rodman bears a message for President Obama from Kim Jong Un. “He wants Obama to do one thing: Call him,” Rodman said. “[Kim] loves basketball. And I said the same thing, I said, ‘Obama loves basketball.’ Let’s start there.” Well, I guess if there’s anyone who can create a peace treaty between North Korea and the U.S…. it’s Rodman. NOT. Step up everyone and see the world’s greatest idiot interviewed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.” Especially enjoy the part when Rodman says ‘guess what’ over a dozen times.
