The MusiCares Foundation will honor multi-GRAMMY-winning artist Adam Clayton of U2 at the 13th annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert at the PlayStation Theater in New York on June 26.
Clayton will receive the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award in recognition of his dedication and support of the MusiCares MAP Fund as well as his commitment to helping others with the addiction recovery process.
The event, sponsored in part by RBC Capital Markets, will benefit the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides members of the music community access to addiction recovery treatment.
Performers include artists Jack Garratt and The Lumineers. GRAMMY winner Hal Willner will be the evening's musical director. Clayton will give a closing performance. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
