BeautyStat Skincare Is New on the Market

As a beauty editor, I have seen firsthand how saturated the market is with new beauty products; and many that don’t deliver. But I keep on trying most of them, giving products a chance.

My latest discovery is BeautyStat, which is headed by CEO Ron Robinson, who is also the chemist behind the brand. Ron started in the beauty industry over 20 years ago working as a cosmetic chemist where he developed many of Clinique’s best-selling products, before taking on product development roles for other brands like L’Oreal, Revlon and Avon.

As his experience grew, he was regularly approached by beauty editors to help clarify any confusion surrounding new ingredients and formulations.

“I realized that I could help consumers cut through the clutter to make better purchase decisions. I felt there needed to be an online community where people could connect with beauty experts. So, I stepped out of the lab and created the BeautyStat blog,” Robinson said.

He hesitated for a long time as he did not believe that the world needed yet another beauty line. It was not until an old colleague and dear friend of his approached him with a revolutionary new technology to stabilize active ingredients such as pure vitamin C which has so many benefits for our skin but is notorious for being unstable.

“I’ve spent my entire career trying to solve this problem and we finally did after spending the next 5 years in the lab, researching and experimenting,” he said.

In 2019 and 5 patents later, BeautyStat was born. It includes their star product: the Universal C Skin Refiner – the world’s first serum containing 20% stable and pure vitamin C that stays potent from first drop to last, never oxidizing or turning brown.

“We’ve grown rapidly as a company, developing an entire line of award-winning skincare products. As we continue to seek out innovative new ingredients and technologies, we are always guided by the belief that everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin,” Robinson said. Having read that I had to try his formulations:

The 3 step routine kit features their iconic Vitamin C serum includes the Universal Microbiome Barrier Balancing Cleanser, the Universal C skin Refiner and the Universal Pro-Bio Moisture Boost Cream.

If you feel that your skin is dull, or has uneven skin tone, dry, flaky skin, I recommend exfoliating with their gentle Triple Action One-Step Daily Exfoliating Peel Pad with Glucosamine and AHAs/BHAs to reveal your most beautiful skin. This one-step, triple-action peel will help “shed” some light on younger-looking, more radiant skin with three pre-dosed actives that, as part of your daily skincare regimen. It will result in brighter, smoother, tighter and younger-looking skin with a more radiant surface glow. And who does not need that? I just started to use it religiously.

Last but not least, I tried the UNIVERSAL C SKIN REFINER SUNSCREEN Broad Spectrum SPF 50. It is a must wherever you are. So, if you are up to it, give it a try! I like them all.
