Nancy Pelosi is the Democratic Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives for the 115th Congress and now the Speaker of the House once again.
From 2007 to 2011, Pelosi served as Speaker of the House, the first woman to do so in American history.
She reclaimed the House speakership Thursday, becoming the first politician in 58 years to step back into the position.
Pelosi was elected 220-192, with 12 Democrats voting for someone other than the California Democrat and three voting simply “present.”
