Taraji P. Henson was another stunner from last night's Grammy Awards. Her makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff breaks down her look into eight DIY steps.
Step One: use DermaFlash to remove build up and dead skin cells to reveal radiant, glowing skin. Kate Somerville DermalQuench Liquid Lift anti-aging spray gives an immediate plumping affect; apply it to skin and follow it with Glossier Super Bounce serum.
Step Two: for foundation, use Perfect Blend by Ashunta Sheriff in tan to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; its coverage gives a natural finish.
Step Three: set makeup with MAC Blotting Powder in dark to keep foundation in place.
Step Four: brows are done with Damone Roberts Minx Bro Gel Pencil and Brow Gel in clear to hold hairs in place; highlight the brow area with Damone Roberts Peach Brow Highlight Pencil to give a slightly lifted look.
Step Five: use Glossier Haloscope in topaz to highlight the cheekbones, and add a Milani Baked Blush in dolce pink for a pop of color.
Step Six: after using Glossier Haloscope on the eyelids, line the eyes on the waterline with MAC Onyx Gel Creme Liner and add House of Lashes Dollface False Eyelashes cut up to space out lashes for a pixie effect.
Step Seven: finish the eyes with L'Oréal Butterfly Voluminous Mascara in black on the top lashes to blend them together.
Step Eight: line the lips with MAC Lip Pencil in plum and fill them in with MAC Retro Matte Lip Creme in divine divine and flesh stone mixed together to create a soft lilac shade.
