Multiple Explosions At Istanbul’s Int’l Airport Leave At Least 28 People Dead

At least 10 people have died and over 60 people are injured after two explosions took place at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, Turkey.

Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag said in a statement that a suicide bomber opened fire in a terminal before blowing himself up.

The airport remained on lockdown Tuesday, the subway system was shut down and roads leading to the airport were closed off by police.

Laurence Cameron was at the airport during the time of the attack. He told CNN that there were massive crowds of "screaming people, [it was] just pure panic."

CNN reported that this is not the deadliest attack that Turkey has seen this year.
