Fans braved the October heatwave on Sunday at Westfield Century City in hopes of seeing Grammy-nominated singer Benson Boone. And see they did… shirtless.
The singer joined Caliwater co-founders Vanessa Hudgens and Oliver Trevena to celebrate the launch of the brand’s new dragonfruit flavor.
Boone entered with a literal skip in his step, greeted the crowd, then stripped off his sweater and stepped into the staged Caliwater tub. He proceeded to grab handfuls of Caliwater cans and pass them out to his fans before jetting off.
Caliwater was born out of a friendship, a prickly pear margarita and a shared interest in healthier, more sustainable beverages.
Hudgens and Trevena launched the brand in 2021. With fewer calories and less sugar than coconut water, Caliwater is said to combine function with flavor, using prickly pear sourced from the Sonoran Desert.
