Professional photographer Matt Alberts has embarked on a new photo journey, launching: The Seasons Collection.
Alberts photography initiative highlights those who have dedicated their lives to their passions. In this case, he’s calling them: LIFERS. Matt’s life-long mission is to document LIFERS: people that have given their heart and soul and committed every ounce of energy to pursue an activity like snowboarding, skateboarding or surfing… anything inspired by pure joy and happiness.
The first video follows pro skateboarders Chet Childress and Al Partanen around various Seattle skate parks. Week 2 was jam-packed full of excitement, as Matt and his crew headed to Portland joined by the legendary Tim Windell and other Windell’s Camp biking and skateboarding enthusiasts.
Alberts uses wet collodion photography, a 19th Century technique known for its sensitivity to UV light, long exposure times and enduring images, to create truly timeless photo collections.
