Ann B. Davis was best known for bringing the character of Alice Nelson to life on the hit TV series, “The Brady Bunch.” Davis has passed away at the age of 88. She will be remembered through her memorable TV career.

The comical actress started out in the NBC comedy, “The Bob Cummings Show” in the late 1950’s, which won her two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. But it was the role of the beloved and devoted housekeeper on ABC’s “The Brady Bunch” which was her main mark. Davis was on the show from 1969 to 1974.

She made a Brady Bunch comeback in several TV movies, including “The Brady Girls Get Marries,” “A Very Brady Christmas” and in the spin-off series, “The Brady Brides” and “The Bradys.”

In 1994, Davis published a cookbook, “Alice’s Brady Bunch Cookbook,” with Brady Bunch inspired recipes.
