Agnez Mo Makes History at Madame Tussauds Hollywood

When Agnez Mo came face to face with her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, her reaction said it all. “It looks more like Agnez Mo than Agnez Mo!” she exclaimed, marveling at the striking likeness.

LATF News and the Hollywood Beauty Awards team sat down with the international recording artist and actress following the unveiling of her figure, which will be on display in Hollywood for six months. The milestone makes her the first Indonesian artist to have a wax figure on display in the United States.

Agnez’s journey in entertainment began at just six years old, when she launched her career as a child singer.

Born Agnes Monica in Jakarta, Indonesia, she went on to establish herself as a recording artist, songwriter, producer, dancer and actress. Over the years, she became one of Indonesia’s most decorated musicians, earning numerous awards for her contributions to music and entertainment. Her accolades include 18 Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards, along with recognition at the Asia Song Festival and iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Determined to build an international career, Agnez expanded into the American music market, collaborating with major artists including Timbaland, T.I., Chris Brown and Ciara. Her 2023 collaboration with Ciara, “Get Loose,” also has a special place in her Madame Tussauds unveiling. The outfit worn by her wax figure comes from the music video, bringing one of her performance looks to life in Hollywood.

Her acting career has continued to grow alongside her music. Agnez is part of Season 4 of Amazon’s Reacher, introducing her to an even wider American audience. She is also preparing for her upcoming project CLAY, alongside Nicolas Cage.

In our exclusive interview, we discuss her evolution from child star to international recording artist, her music and acting career, her experience on Reacher, and what audiences can expect from her upcoming film project.
