Actress and Disney Legend, Ming-Na Wen was honored with The Timeless Beauty Award at the 9th annual Hollywood Beauty Awards.

HBA’s official couturier Nabil Hayari of HAYARI PARIS created a custom gown, which took three months and over 250 hours of hand work to design at his Parisian Atelier.

Made with high quality gray blue silk organza, the gown’s lining was made with silk tulle and silk satin. The top of the dress with corset couture and the Princess cutting is made with two organza layers. For the final touch, the beautiful embroidered butterflies were handmade and laser cut. Each butterfly is topped with Swarovski stones and ostrich feathers.

Longtime friends Joe Manganiello (Actor, Host of “Deal or No Deal: Island”) and Chaz Dean (Founder of WEN) presented to the acclaimed actress.

The Timeless Beauty Award recognizes an industry icon for their career achievements and the positive influence and impact they have made throughout their lives; through their humanitarian efforts and life examples.

Ming-Na Wen broke barriers by becoming the first Asian American contract actor in a daytime drama on “As the World Turns.”  She followed that with a seven-year run on the Emmy Award-winning NBC series “ER.” From Broadway to film, she was named a DISNEY LEGEND for giving life to such characters as “Mulan,” Agent May in “Marvel’s Agents of Shield” and ‘June’ in “The Joy Luck Club” based upon Amy Tan’s novel. With a starring voice in HBO Max’s “Gremlins: Secrets of Mogwai,” she recently starred in”The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett.” A part of BBC’s 100 most influential women and People Magazine’s 50 most beautiful people list; this past year, Ming-Na was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was just announced as the latest cast member to join Sony’s “Karate Kid.”

Nabil Hayari studied at the notable L’école Supdemod in Lyon before his talent was noticed by La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne. Perfecting his craft during his internships at Yves Saint Laurent and Azzedine Alaïa, Nabil learned the secrets of crystal beads, lace, chiffon drapes, structured cuts and more. He eventually went to work for Diamant Blanc et Diamant Noir where wedding gowns became his signature. Five years later, he partnered with entrepreneur and businessman Hugues Alard to create HAYARI PARIS. In 2009, they opened their doors on the prestigious Golden Triangle, Avenue Matignon alongside Dior and the best of couture. Presenting his first collection at Paris Fashion Week with wedding and evening gowns, the brand was an instant success.
