New Music Friday: State Champs, Ayokay & Nightly, Dylan Sinclair, Gryffin & Olivia O’Brien, Tauren Wells, Ghost Hounds, Allison Ponthier

State Champs release their 4th studio album, “Kings Of The New Age.” The group has unveiled a brand-new music video for “Act Like That” with Mitchell Tenpenny. The video features backyard sports, motocross stunts, and a little bit of friendly competition, encompassing the fun, lighthearted feel of the track itself.

Artist/vocalist/producer Ayokay shares his immersive new album “Digital Dreamscape.” Ayokay is also premiering the latest single and video from the album: “Amnesia,” an exhilarating collaboration with Nashville-based alt-pop band Nightly.

Toronto R&B singer-songwriter Dylan Sinclair has released his breakout new EP, “No Longer in the Suburbs.” The focus single and video, “Open,” passionately lays a promise to be more reciprocal within a relationship.

Acclaimed platinum-selling producer Gryffin and singer/songwriter Olivia O’Brien join forces for an exciting new single titled “Caught Up.” The lyric video slowly builds before bursting into a full-fledged anthem supported by Gryffin’s dynamic production and Olivia’s magnetic vocals.

Tauren Wells returns with a new single – “Come Home.” Against an ominous, beat-heavy backdrop, Wells takes an unflinching look at the harm done by hypocrisy. In the gritty, soulful call-and-response chorus, he offers an alternative, envisioning home as a place of steadfast, unconditional love.

Blues-rock band Ghost Hounds releases their new blues album, “You Broke Me,” written and produced by guitarist Thomas Tull and songwriter, producer Kevin Bowe. Using a sharp electric guitar, the plucking of piano keys, the vibrations of a harmonica, and Tre Nation’s impassioned vocals, each track only leaves you wanting more.

Allison Ponthier‘s new EP is, “Shaking Hands with Elvis.” The first single and video is “Hardcore,” a song  produced by GRAMMY® winner Ariel Rechtshaid. In the animated video, a puppet resembling Ponthier performs accompanying herself on acoustic guitar as she sits at home alone – with a birthday banner overhead and a piñata hanging from the ceiling.
