New Music Friday: Heart Of Gold, Paige King Johnson, Olivia Penalva, Gavin Haley, Zach Zoya and More…

Manchester-based band Heart of Gold has released their latest track, “Backseat Daydream,” from their upcoming debut album “Beautiful Dangerous.” The track is reminiscent of summertime, falling in love, and is dripping with guitar solos and the beats of the drums.

Country music singer-songwriter Paige King Johnson connects with her North Carolina roots with the release of her music video for her single “Homes In The Hometowns.” The music video pictures the rural NC landscape as Johnson drives a tractor and strums her acoustic guitar.

Sensational singer/songwriter and one of Canada’s most rapidly rising stars, Olivia Penalva, released “Judge Away,” the first single from her forthcoming EP. Co-written with Troy Samson, “Judge Away” finds Olivia doing what she does best – thoughtfully employing music to navigate the trials and tribulations of self-discovery.

LA-based artist Gavin Haley shares a new up-tempo tune from the project primed to be the anthem of summer situationships.“Mine” is a delicious pop track exploring a relatable theme that’s part moving on from, and part yearning for a former relationship.

The official music video for Zach Zoya’s brand-new single “Upper Hand” featuring fellow Montréal songwriter and producer Soran, has been released. Directed by Dan LeMoyne, the cinematic video, filmed in an abandoned Montréal bank, depicts the struggle of finding emotional balance within a relationship.

German-Croatian producer Topic and Swedish singer/songwriter A7S revisit another all-time dance classic on their powerful follow-up single – “Kernkraft 400 (A Better Day).” The song is based on the iconic melody from Zombie Nation’s 1999 smash – itself a rework of a theme tune from a 1984 computer game.

Multi-cultural rock band Circle The Earth has released their new single “Sweetest Pain” along with its official music video. The driving pop-rock song, co-written by Jim McGorman and produced by Ethan Kaufman, illustrates the quintet’s diverse backgrounds and eclectic approach.
