L.A. Zoo Closes For Three Weeks

On December 7, the L.A Zoo will officially close to the public in conformance with the Governor's Regional Stay Home Order.

This closure will remain in effect for a minimum of three weeks, and the L.A. Zoo will be closed until authorized to reopen.

"The health and safety of our guests, staff, and animals are our top priority. Essential Zoo employees will continue to report to work in order to care for our animals and facility. L.A. Zoo guests and members who have purchased and/or reserved tickets on dates during the L.A. Zoo's closure will be contacted by email with further information," the L.A. Zoo said in a statement.

The Zoo has created a dedicated webpage to provide updates about the L.A. Zoo and a link to information regarding COVID-19 at www.lazoo.org/covid-19.

Guests may also follow the L.A. Zoo on social media @lazoo for current updates on the Zoo's operational status.
