There are a few brands that come to mind when climbers are putting their wishlist together; North Face always being the one on top!
Every year, they up the ante with new apparel designs and sleek gear. I've personally worn and tested all of these items! Here are four must-haves to gift your fellow climber or yourself this holiday season!
EXPLORE FUSEBOX DAYPACK
This 26-liter backpack is perfect for a few settings. Not only can you pack your gear in it, but it's great for the office too. The built-in laptop case perfectly fits the brand new Macbook Air 13". It's a compact fit, so you have no choice but to be organized. The top lid contains a zippered mesh compartment, great for chargers and phones. I like the outer loops where you can add plenty of carabiners.
The padded shoulder straps are extremely comfortable and secure for any bike riding or hiking.
Overall, a great backpack for airplane travel or the office.

NORTH DOME CHALK BAG
My very first chalk bag was from North Face. Their designs are always reliable and last forever. I just started using the North Dome design, which solves all of our leaky chalk problems. It has a side-release-buckle, roll-top closure with a waxed coating that eliminates the threat of a chalk explosion on the way to the crag.

Side sleeve for chalk brush
-
Secure-zip pocket for essentials

WOMEN’S SUMMIT L3 50|50 DOWN HOODIE
This is the jacket that every climber needs. It's light-weight and folds into a small ball in a matter of seconds. With cool flashy colors, the design is sleek and you'll be warm for all of those chilly night climbs and long days at the crag during the Fall and Winter.
It does have a slim fit, so size-up if you want to wear mid-layers. Did I mention how extremely comfortable this is? It's like wearing your favorite down sleeping bag, but as a jacket!
