2020 Mammoth Lakes Film Festival Goes Virtual

The 2020 Mammoth Lakes Film Festival will take place online September 16 -20.

MLFF is a five-day festival that screens independent features and shorts in the spectacular setting of Mammoth Lakes—California's premier mountain resort, high in the Eastern Sierras – which is usually held over Memorial Day weekend (the event was postponed due to COVID and this year is being held in the fall virtually).

The west coast premier destination for films such as Damsel starring Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska, to world premiere new discoveries like Netflix favorite Abducted in Plain Sight and many more.

Named as one of the Top 50 Festivals Worth The Entry Fee by Movie Maker Magazine in 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019, MLFF showcases the work of emerging, innovative filmmakers against the backdrop of California's ruggedly beautiful Eastern Sierra.

Industry professionals provide mentoring and support, relationships and collaborations are actively promoted and nurtured. Taking chances on talented but little-known artists, the festival is committed to discovering new voices that will shape the future of film.

Numerous films from the festival have gone on to screen at many other festivals and have garnered great success, including Academy Award nominations.
