Coronavirus Hurts Box Office Numbers

With quarantines in place and many staying avoiding public places, the box office took a hit.

Comscore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian said, "Sony's 'Bloodshot' starring Vin Diesel took the top spot on the global chart with $22.3 million earned this weekend in 51 territories (for a cume of $24.4 million to date) while the top earner in North America, Disney/Pixar's 'Onward' grabbed up $17.3 million this weekend, now taking its worldwide total to $101.69 million."
