YouTube, Hulu, TikTok, Netflix, Instagram … what a multi-media world! Assembling today's social media creators, streamers, digital publishers, filmmakers, influencers and creative teams, NSPIRE at NAB Show, in partnership with the Advanced Imaging Society, will spotlight the evolving art of storytelling during a two-day conference. On April 19 – 20, 2020 at the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the inaugural summit will blend fields of content creation with Hollywood professionals and social media digital creatives to bring together creators of all varieties in hopes to heighten content, strengthen business, network, and expand careers.
Among the two days of the jam-packed conference are sessions that cover a variety of topics in filmmaking, social media and the digital space. Learn first-hand the secrets of how virtual production is achieved and how decision-making flexibility improves the process for the creative team in a session led by the Visual Effect Supervisor for The Lion King and Avatar: Robert Legato. Founder & Chief Product Officer at Arcturus, Ewan Johnson, and Executive Creative Director at Sequin AR, Lawrence Jones, will share a variety of projects, including the techniques Madonna used to create a one-of-a-kind experience for fans. Other sessions will discuss the advances in display technology and showcase how light fields can accurately reproduce real-life images.
Join YouTube lifestyle filmmaker, Jared Watney, in an intimate chat about his filmmaking journey, learned lessons, and the tech he uses to produce his results. Kudzi Chikumbu, Director of Creator Community at TikTok, will lead a session on rise of the free social media platform and how to master the medium for your next project.
Google Cloud will lead a session on the creative collaboration process of film, television and immersive storytelling. Sarah Lum, Global Industry Events Lead at Google Cloud, will host a #IAmRemarkable breakout workshop to encourage women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments and successes in the workplace. More sessions to be announced.
