2018 Midterm Election Results: Republicans Take Senate, Democrats Take House

Ballots cast in Vote by Mail precincts are counted in the first bulletin. These tallied Vote by Mail precincts are reflected in the "Precincts Reporting" figure. There are 563 Vote by Mail precincts.

The voter registration figure reflects registrations 29 days before the election. Voters who registered after this date will have their vote counted.

As far as the national midterms, CBS News projects Democrats will take the House for the first time in seven years. Republicans are projected to keep control of the Senate.
