Stress Awareness Month: Top Teas To De-Stress With

Tea, national stress awareness month

When we come home from a long and stressful day at work, there are a handful of things we think of when we're in need of relaxation… for Angelenos, we look towards yoga, meditation and that warm cup of tea to ease our mind and body.

April is Stress Awareness Month. It's important to know the things you can do, eat or drink in order to unwind. We're featuring a few herbal teas that can calm your nerves and keep you from stressing out!

Tetley Tea

Not your average tea, Tetley offers specialty super teas for Immunity, Metabolism and more. For self-care and stress relief, we tried their GLOW Super Herbal Tea. GLOW is blended with zesty pineapple, citrus and Vitamin B7. Stress can make your skin break out. Luckily, Vitamin B7 helps maintain normal skin and hair growth. Also check out their Classic Blends, British Blends and beyond.

Here's a delicious Tetley Tea Recipe to sip by the fireside:

4 Tetley® Classic Blend Tea bags
3 cups boiling water
1/3 cup honey
3 cups unsweetened apple juice
Lemon slices
In a 2-quart pot, brew tea bags in boiling water. Remove tea bags and add honey and apple juice. Simmer until hot. Ladle into cups and garnish with lemon slices. Serves 6 to 8.

good earth tea

Loose tea is very much in! Try Good Earth's Turmeric Chai with a little kick. A true tea-lover’s chai, this masterful organic blend is full of robust flavors with spicy ginger and pepper, sweet cinnamon and the earthy touch of exotic turmeric. Enjoy it black or with milk and honey, and let the wondrous combination of Indian spices work their magic on your palate.

Their Sweet & Spicy Green Tea is wonderful when you need a break at the office and a little kick to wake you up. For nighttime, try Sweet & Spicy Good Night.
