Check It Out: ‘The Book Of Henry’ Trailer Starring Naomi Watts & Maddie Ziegler

The Book of Henry starring Naomi Watts, Jaeden Lieberher, Jacob Tremblay, Sarah Silverman, Lee Pace, Maddie Ziegler, and Dean Norris is set to release in select cities on June 16, 2017.

The rated PG-13 film shows that sometimes things are not always what they seem, especially in the small suburban town where the Carpenter family lives. Naomi Watts plays single suburban mother Susan Carpenter who works as a waitress at a diner, alongside feisty family friend Sheila, portrayed by Sarah Silverman. Susan's younger son Peter, played by Jacob Tremblay is a playful 8 year-old. Taking care of everyone and everything in his own unique way is Susan’s older son Henry, played by Jaeden Lieberher, age 11. Henry is a protector to his adoring younger brother and tireless supporter of his often self-doubting mother. Through Henry, Susan discovers that the family next door, which includes Henry’s kind classmate Christina, played by Maddie Ziegler, has a dangerous secret. Henry devises a surprising plan to help, and as his brainstormed rescue plan for Christina takes shape in thrilling ways, Susan finds herself at the center of it.

The Book of Henry is directed by Colin Trevorrow who has also worked on Jurassic World and Safety Not Guaranteed and it derives from an original screenplay by acclaimed novelist Gregg Hurwitz.
