On Halloween day, just hours before trick or treaters took to the streets of New York City, a truck driver plowed through pedestrians and drove onto a jogging and biking path.
The attack took place in lower Manhattan, just a few blocks away from One World Trade Center.
According to reports, the Home Depot rental truck entered the bike path just north of Chambers Street and struck multiple people before hitting a school bus.
At least 6 people are dead and 15 injured.
One suspect is in custody, police said.
Multiple law enforcement sources say the New York incident is being investigated as terrorism.
