Erykah Badu Reaches 10th Top 10 Record

Four-time GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Erykah Badu has added another top 10 single to her repertoire. "Phone Down" has just become her 10th top 10 record on Billboard's Adult R&B Songs chart. The hit can be found on Badu's critically acclaimed mixtape "But You Caint Use My Phone".

Erykah Badu is a four-time GRAMMY award-winning auteur and icon who is a self-described "singer, songwriter, producer, DJ, director, activist, holistic healer, doula, veggie, bgirl, observer, and hustler." This past November, Erykah Badu released her first collection of songs in five years with the mixtape "But You Caint Use My Phone".

Erykah Badu has kept herself quite busy since the release of her first full music project in 5 years. It was recently announced that Badu will be the music supervisor of Comedy Central's newest nominated series "Legends of Chamberlain Heights." Badu will compose original music for the series, which is set to premiere on September 14th. Erykah Badu can also be seen in the film "The Land" which is executive produced by Nas. Badu also teamed up for Nas for the movie's theme song, "The Bitter Land," — watch and listen above!
