Recipes: Shake Up Your Holiday Cocktails With Midori Melon

Just in time for July 4th celebrations, relaxing on the porch and entertaining friends… we have the sweetest cocktail recipes from Midori.

Midori Melon Liqueur recipeMidori® Mebuki

1 part Midori® Melon Liqueur

1 part Junmai Style Sake

1/2 part Fresh Lemon Juice

Splash Simple Syrup

METHOD: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and shake. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Midori Melon Liqueur recipeMidori® Sangria


1 part Midori® Melon Liqueur

1.5 parts Red Wine

0.5 part Lemon Juice

Chopped Apple or Pear

Lemon-lime Soda

Orange Wheel, for garnish

METHOD: In a tall glass with ice, combine Midori® Melon Liqueur, red wine, and lemon juice and stir from the bottom of the glass. Add chopped apple or pear and top with lemon-lime soda. Stir gently from bottom of the glass and garnish with an orange wheel.

Midori Melon Liqueur recipeMidori® Margarita


1 part Midori® Melon Liqueur 

1 1/2 parts Sauza® Signature Blue Silver Tequila

2/3 part Fresh Lime Juice


Lime Wheel, for garnish

METHOD: Pour Sauza® tequila, Midori® and fresh lime juice into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake well. Rim a chilled cocktail/tumbler/rocks glass with salt. Strain the shaken cocktail into the glass, top with ice and garnish with a lime wheel. 


Midori® Colada


2 parts Midori® Melon Liqueur

1 part Cruzan® Pineapple Rum

4 parts Colada Mix*

METHOD: Combine ingredients with ice in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a hurricane type glass and top with whipped cream and a pineapple/cherry stack.

5 parts Coco Lopez® Cream of Coconut

8 parts Pineapple Juice

1 part Heavy Cream

METHOD: Combine all ingredients in a blender without ice and mix until well blended. Keep remaining mixture chilled (mixture should last between 5-7 days).

Serves 4-5


4 parts Midori® Melon Liqueur

4 parts Pinnacle® Pineapple Vodka

12 parts Pineapple Juice

4 part Mango Juice

Mango Slices

Pineapple Slices

METHOD: Pour all ingredients into a punch bowl over ice. Stir well and garnish with pineapple and mango slices.
