Primary Results: Cruz & Sanders Take Wisconsin

wisconsin primaryThe results are in for Tuesday's Wisconsin Primary Election.

On the GOP end, Ted Cruz won with 36 delegates. Donald Trump followed behind with 6.

1,237 delegates are needed to secure the nomination on the first ballot at July’s GOP convention.

There was a lot of talk in the media regarding Hillary Clinton focusing more on New York since she probably knew Wisconsin was not in her favor. Turns out that was true.

For the Democratic Primary, Bernie Sanders took the lead with 47 delegates vs. Clinton's 36.
