Rubio Out, Trump & Clinton Lead Yet Another Primary Race

hillary clinton and donald trumpIt was a disappointing Tuesday Primary for Marco Rubio as he lost his home state of California to Donald Trump.

The media spotlight was on John Kasich's win in Ohio. "We put one foot in front of the other… I will not take the low road to the highest office in the land," Kasich said in his post-win speech.

Trump won 646 delegate votes on March 15th, Ted Cruz won 397 and Kasich followed behind with 142.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton saw big wins with 1,599 delegates, winning Florida and North Carolina over Bernie Sanders' 844.

Falling more and more behind in the race for the Republican nomination, Rubio stepped aside announcing his drop out.

He said, "America is in the middle of a real political storm, a real tsunami and we should have seen this coming."

Rubio added, "While we are on the right side… this year, we will not be on the winning side."
