Brussels Bomb-Maker Believed To Be Dead

Najim Laachraoui According to officials, the suspected bomb-maker behind the November Paris terror attacks, as well as this week's devastating Brussels bombings is believed to have died in the blasts.

Authorities were on the hunt for suspected bomb-maker Najim Laachraoui, but he is now believed to be dead.

According to NBC News, brothers Ibrahim and Khalid El Bakraoui, who were involved in the bombings were also killed, prosecutors said. Belgium's chief prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw identified the two brothers as the responsible suicide bombers at both attack sites.

On Tuesday, police detained one unidentified person in a raid, according to the authorities. Another raid on Tuesday discovered 150 kilograms of explosives, detonators and a suitcase full of nails and screws.

At least 31 people were killed and over 270 wounded between the airport and subway attack.
