The music streaming business is a competitive one in this day and age. Pandora, Spotify, Tidal… all fight for the top position to be the first choice for listeners to steam music via their Apps. According to tech reports, Apple is joining the line.
iTunes Music is still the #1 music retailer, but USA Today reported that the company is expected to announce a new music streaming service next week.
As reported by USA Today, Apple’s new service would have a prominent display on the home screen of the iPhone, where the Music app is one of the four main apps displayed on the bottom, next to Phone, Mail and Internet browser Safari.
For most music streamers, it all boils down to what streaming service has the most artists in their catalogue. Spotify adds new artists every day. Let’s see if iTunes can compete.
