There is a new addition to the royal family. On Saturday morning, at 8:34AM London time, the Duchess Kate of Cambridge gave birth to a baby girl.
According to Kensington Palace‘s Twitter and email announcement, “The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz” and “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, was present for the birth. There is no name announced as of yet.
