On Tuesday, a Metrolink commuter train in Southern California near Oxnard was derailed after crashing into a truck.
According to authorities, dozens of passengers were injured, including three in critical condition. 51 people were involved in the crash, with 28 patients transported to local hospitals.
The driver involved in the crash is also being treated. The crash occurred just before 6AM on Tuesday, causing a domino tragedy; the truck caught fire and three Metrolink rail cars toppled over.
There were 51 passengers on the train at the time of the crash, the news release stated.
