Update: Authorities say there are multiple fatalities and injuries. Although the full story has not yet been revealed, a shooting has taken place at Fort Hood “Home of America’s Armored Corps” in Texas.
Around 20 rounds were shot outside but then the shooter went in to the medical brigade building, according to a soldier on post at Fort Hood. The soldier said there appeared to be some sort of standoff which occured.
The shooter is now confirmed dead. It is unknown whether multiple shooters were involved.
