One of television’s favorite casts says goodbye tonight on CBS. “How I Met Your Mother” has been running for nine seasons. The special one-hour series finale airs tonight Monday, March 31 (8:00-9:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Taking place immediately after where the previous season left off, Season 9 covered the events of a single weekend that lead up to Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin’s (Cobie Smulders) wedding (albeit it ending in a divorce in the future). During the course of the weekend, “The Mother” (Milioti) will separately be introduced to Robin, Barney, Lily (Alyson Hannigan), and Marshall (Segel), before finally meeting Ted (Josh Radnor).
In the final episode: “Last Forever Parts One and Two” —Ted finally finishes telling his kids the story of how he met their mother. on the special one-hour series finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Monday, March 31 (8:00-9:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
