Team USA Continues To Break Medal Records

Norway takes the lead with 9 Olympic gold medals above Germany‘s 8. Team USA is making its way up the medal roster with 7 gold, 4 silver and 10 bronze (21 total).

On Tuesday, world champion David Wise took home his first gold for the US in the men’s ski halfpipe competition. American Alex Deibold came in third in the men’s snowboard cross, while two-time world champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White finally got their first Olympic gold for ice dancing for the United States on Monday.

On Wednesday, Alpine skier Ted Ligety took the gold for the US, becoming the first American man to win two Olympic gold medals in Alpine skiing.
