Reel Talk Returns on Monday Night with Oscar Nominated “Ernest and Celestine”

Hosted by Stephen Farber, president of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and film critic for The Hollywood Reporter, REEL TALK is a popular film series that offers advanced screenings of the latest films followed by discussions with the directors and stars in attendance.

Previous films and guest speakers include: Dustin Hoffman (“Quartet”), Alexander Payne (“Nebraska”), Jason Reitman (“Young Adult”), Ralph Fiennes (“The Invisible Woman”), Nick Nolte (“The Company You Keep”) and Emily Blunt (“Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”), to name a few.

In partnership with Landmark Theatres, Farber’s REEL TALK is currently in its seventh annual winter foreign film series. Screenings take place every Monday night at 7pm at Landmark Theatres’ flagship location, The Landmark, on Pico Blvd.

Next up on February 24th is ERNEST AND CELESTINE, one of the five Oscar nominees this year for Best Animated Film. Guest speakers for the evening will include the film’s producer, Didier Brunner, and actress Pauline Brunner, who provides the voice of Celestine.

Series passes and individual tickets can be purchased online or at The Landmark box office.
