The 27th Annual Ojai Film Festival returns to Ojai, California, November 4 through 9, 2026, bringing together filmmakers, actors and audiences for six days celebrating independent cinema.
This year’s festival will showcase 74 films from more than 30 countries, along with special screenings, filmmaker conversations and appearances by some of Hollywood’s most recognizable names.
Among the highlights, Martin Sheen will host the world premiere of American Mosaic on November 4 at Libbey Bowl. Created in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the documentary features photographer Joe Sohm’s images of all 50 states, accompanied by an orchestral score from Peter Boyer and narration by Sheen.
On November 5, brothers Jeff Bridges and Beau Bridges will reunite for a special screening of the 1989 Oscar-nominated film The Fabulous Baker Boys. Directed by Steve Kloves, the film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer.
Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone will receive the festival’s Artists of Distinction Award on November 6. The couple will attend a 10th anniversary screening of their 2016 comedy The Boss, followed by a conversation with the audience.
The festival’s official Opening Night presentation on November 6 will feature the U.S. premiere of Everybody Digs Bill Evans, directed by Grant Gee. The film, which earned Best Director honors at the Berlin International Film Festival, stars Anders Danielsen Lie as legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans.
Closing Night festivities on November 8 will feature In Memoriam, starring comedian and actor Marc Maron as a dying actor determined to secure a place in the Oscars’ annual tribute to departed film industry figures. The film is directed by Rob Burnett.
In addition to its featured presentations, the Ojai Film Festival will offer a diverse selection of international films and opportunities for audiences to engage directly with filmmakers.
Festival passes include Two Pack, Four Pack, All Access Films and All Access options.
