Another detective has joined the force on Fox’s Batman-related series “Gotham.” Donal Logue will portray the gruff Det. Harvey Bullock, who is the partner of (pre-Commissioner) Det. James Gordon, who will be played by Ben McKenzie. Though Logue’s breakout television role was in the sitcom Grounded For Life, he has done a great deal of dramatic work on Sons of Anarchy and the acclaimed, but short-lived Terriers.
But Fox isn’t stopping with just casting news, as the network picks up a series order for former Saturday Night Live regular Will Forte’s new comedy “Last Man On Earth.” The show follows Forte on his adventures as – you guessed it, the “last man on Earth.” Adding to Forte’s star power are Phil Lord and Chris Miller, coming on as directors and executive producers, fresh off of the success of their film The Lego Movie.
ABC Studios is also in the casting mood, as they’ve added Juliette Lewis to the Ryan Phillippe starring drama “Secrets & Lies.” On the show, Lewis, who can now be seen in the film August: Osage County, will be portraying a detective trying to solve the central case – the killing of a young boy.
