Twitter and CNN has confirmed, “Piers Morgan Live” will see its final air date soon. As Morgan tweeted himself, “Humbling to bring such happiness to so many people today. Coming 3rd, as I’ve always said, is not a trophy. #MorganOut #CNN.”
The show has been struggling to gain viewership in the 9PM time slot. The date of the final program has not yet been announced.
“Piers Morgan Live” replaced the CNN show hosted by iconic TV interviewer Larry King in early 2011. Since the start, Morgan’s show has not been able to increase ratings and audience followers.
