How many times can President Obama tell the American people he is ‘frustrated’ about the healthcare website problems before there actually is a REAL problem? On Monday, President Obama addressed the website’s issues but there is still no resolution. “No one is more frustrated than me,” he said, promising that technology experts from around the country were working with the administration “to get this working better, faster, sooner.”
There have been more negative issues with Obamacare than positive ones. If federal officals can’t get the new online insurance marketplace running smoothly by mid-November, the problems plaguing the three-week-old website could become a far bigger threat to the success of the health law, hampering enrollment and fueling opponents’ calls to delay implementation, analysts say – as reported by NPR. In the meantime, Sen. Marco Rubio is planning to introduce legislation that would delay the health law’s individual mandate until the technical failures are addressed. He discussed the plan Tuesday morning in an interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”
“How are you going to go after people next year … if the thing you’re forcing them to buy isn’t available to buy?” he asked, saying the site is “not working.”
