Syria: Obama Says “No Boots On The Ground”

Obama

President Obama is actively considering some sort of military action in Syria but stated that there will be “no boots on the ground” right now. He has reached no “soley military solution.” As Obama is on his way to Russia, Wolf Blitzer of CNN reports he will most likely come in contact with President Putin. Russia is a major ally of Syria. Obama stated that the chemical weapons in Syria are a challenge to the world. Still, a final decision could be made at any moment: today, tomorrow or next week.

As far as attack support from Britain, the British Parliament Thursday rejected a proposal for military action in Syria — while the Obama administration said it would make its own decision on a possible strike.UK Prime Minister David Cameron indicated he won’t proceed without parliamentary approval, saying the government “will act accordingly.”
