Early Tuesday, Egyptian authorities arrested Mohamed Badie, leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. The 70 year-old was found in a Cairo apartment.
Many of the Brotherhood’s top leaders, including chief strategist, Khairat Shater and former Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi are in detention or have gone underground. Violence still continues in the streets of Egypt. Over 900 Morsi supporters have been shot and killed during protests.
