Weekend Movie Releases 3/15/13 – 3/17/13

The Call

In a very rare Halle Berry vehicle, “The Call” tells the story of Jordan Turner (Berry), a longtime 911-call operator whose life is flipped upside down after receiving a call from an abducted girl. Jordan soon finds that the abductor just so happens to be a killer from her past. Brad Anderson (Vanishing on 7th Street) directs; Abigail Breslin and Morris Chestnut co-star.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone

Steve Carell headlines this star-studded comedy epic about two long-time magicians who are forced to continuously up the ante on their stunts in order to stay in business. Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, Jim Carrey, James Gandolfini, Alan Arkin, and Jay Mohr all lend their talents to this Don Scardino (30 Rock) helmed flick. This is the film to see this St. Patrick’s Day weekend if you’re looking to laugh uncontrollably.

Upside Down

In a galaxy where gravity pulls in two directions, Adam (Jim Sturgess) and Eden (Kirsten Dunst) are two young lovebirds that are forced by the laws of Newton defying science to live in different worlds. When Adam finds a way to break into Eden’s world, he embarks on a dangerous voyage to claim the love of his life.
