That’s it, the call is in… Mike D’Antoni will replace Mike Brown as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. According to ESPN, the deal was signed around 11:30PM PT Sunday night. Sources say D’Antoni, the former Pheonix Suns and New York Knicks coach gets a three-year deal for $12 million, with a club option come the fourth year.

Despite all the talk of negotiations to bring back Phil Jackson, the Lakers had another guy in mind. The Lakers said they plan to hold a news conference on Tuesday or Wednesday.
