Today, Tuesday October 9th, 2012, Jerry Sandusky was sentenced to a minimum of 30 to 60 years in prison. The former Penn State football coach was charged for numerous accounts of child-sex abuse, which were finally revealed in 2011. He was indicted for 52 counts of child molestation dating from 1994 to 2009. Shouldn’t we have considered admitting Sandusky to a psych ward rather than a prison? Looking back at his interviews, it is clear that this man believes he didn’t do anything wrong. Was justice served?
