Demi Lovato’s New Song “Low Rise Jeans” In Time For Summer

GRAMMY-nominated global superstar Demi Lovato has officially released “Low Rise Jeans,” out now via DLG Recordings/Island Records – listen HERE.

The track is the first new offering from It’s Not That Deep (Unless You Want It To Be), the forthcoming deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed ninth studio album, arriving Friday, April 24 with eight new tracks. Upon release last fall, It’s Not That Deep became Demi’s most critically acclaimed album to date, with a cumulative score of 82 on Metacritic.

“Low Rise Jeans” first sparked fan excitement when Demi first performed the song on opening night of Demi’s It’s Not That Deep Tour in Orlando this past Monday. In The Hollywood Reporter’s review of her “triumphant tour opener”, Demi was praised for having “found freedom in her pop past and present” and the “new air of confidence” she brought to the stage. That same energy carries into “Low Rise Jeans” – a bold, flirtatious, after-hours pop record that expands the dance-pop world of It’s Not That Deep.

The song’s release and deluxe album announcement arrives just after Demi wrapped tonight’s show at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., where fans got a first look at the artwork on arena screens. It’s Not That Deep (Unless You Want It To Be) continues the celebratory, late-night energy of the original album while ushering in new music to keep the party going as Demi celebrates her first U.S. arena tour in nearly eight years.

Produced by Live Nation, Demi’s It’s Not That Deep Tour continues April 18 in Philadelphia, with stops in Toronto, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and more before wrapping May 25 in Houston. Tickets are available now at DemiLovato.com/tour.
